Successful brands are ever evolving, and for Chick-fil-A, building and testing prototype restaurants helps them anticipate customer lifestyles and appetites. The Mebane store has an expanded footprint with dual drive-thru lanes set on an outparcel of a larger master tract in a prominent, high-traffic area.
The public responded with enthusiasm, and the restaurant was a local hit from day one. Contineo was called back to design an add-on lot for additional parking to accommodate the volume, and also designed a road extension for the city to provide access to the rear of the property.
