A curious project engineer, Jake Michael joined Contineo in 2021 and has been in the field for more than 4 years. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Jake is passionate about sustainability and his ideas stem from being environmentally conscious. Another one of Jake’s passions is new construction technology advancement because the fresh ideas that are developed are intriguing and the benefits are always wonderful.
Since joining Contineo Jake has assisted on a self-storage project in more than one state such as Florida and Georgia. He also has experience in convenience store, and retail store projects.
Jake is trained in AutoCAD Civil 3D and has used it to design mass and fine grading plans for industrial sites. He has also used this tool to design and profile storm pipe networks and utilities. Jake has experience in creating conceptual site layouts and designed site plans.

More About Jake: On Saturdays you can find Jake cheering on his college football team, UGA. He also has a love for his dog, cooking and listening to his records. A fun fact about Jake is he designed the mixture for a concrete canoe in college and his research was published in the Construction and Building Materials Journal.
