Employees came out with their families at our summer corporate event at Six Flags Over Georgia. Everyone had a blast riding roller coasters, water sliding and eating tons of hotdogs (we did recommend that folks eat AFTER they rode the coasters!!!). BONUS: Our Flash Passes meant no waiting in long lines!
Who says you can’t conduct serious business on a cruise ship! We held our annual corporate retreat on a cruise that took us from Jacksonville, Fla., to Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. We participated in daily presentations by Contineo leadership on various company items, along with workshops designed to refine the corporate culture and mission statements we created during our 2016 corporate retreat. When we weren’t focusing on weighty business issues, we enjoyed visiting the Hemingway House in Key West, and the local dining, mopeds, beaches and shopping that Cozumel offered. Shipboard entertainment included karaoke, dancing, casinos, game shows, theater, comedy shows and relaxing on the deck.
Contineo Group was honored at the Georgia State Capital by Brian Kemp, Georgia Secretary of State, as a valued partner in supporting the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. We do like cruising! Our 2016 corporate retreat was conducted on a cruise from Miami to the Bahamas. In addition to daily presentations, we formalized our culture and mission statements. The sea was rough so we didn’t stop at Freeport; however, we visited Nassau and enjoyed the nightlife (which is unusual for ships to let their passengers stay during the night time). We made the most of our ship’s amenities, however, including karaoke, dancing, the casino and the food!
We held our annual leadership retreat in South America in 2015, in Cartegena, Colombia. We spent our work time engaged in assessing our corporate performance and creating future strategies. We also enjoyed learning about cultural differences, spending time with one of our employees’ family in their beautiful home, and scouting out the best local shopping.
